Why Stocking?
Somewhat of an impulse project, since I had all the materials to do this outfit, I opted to make Stocking's volleyball outfit from the same beach episode as the beach bikini, which I had done previously. I would love to do Panty's at some point, but since her hair is in a ponytail in that look, I'd need another base wig, at least, and didn't have that color pink on hand, hence why I picked Stocking. Yes, even though pink is my FAVORITE color. ;P

About This Costume
Unlike my other cosplays thus far for Panty and Stocking, I actually made a vast majority of this! The top and bottoms were all drafted and sewn by me. Instead of painting on wings or doing an appliqué, I opted to be extra and do rhinestone wings, because that sounds SO like them, haha! They appear on the visor, top, and back of the bottoms.
The visor was bought, but heavily modified. The white headband was cut off completely, and the size of the visor was cut down. I covered the top white part of the visor in matching blue fabric, and added straps with a hook in the back, so it can go through the wig and appears to "float" on the head, like in the show.
Why Stocking?
This was a very simple to assemble outfit since it was mostly all found item! I didn't know much about sewing at the time so it was nice to be able to just search online and assemble a cosplay from various parts and accessories. I actually loved this look on me a lot more than I thought I would, so I would love to revisit it some day and make my dress this time around!

About This Costume
Once again, another mostly found-item cosplay from Panty and Stocking! I bought the bikini on ASOS for something like $13, which was a steal! Got the accessories from various online shops, and bought two leis from Party City and took them apart and rethreaded them to appear extra full and fluffy.
The wig is much shorter than I originally had it. Even though it was more "accurate", with hair all the way down to my shins, I knew it would be a pain in the butt to take care of something so long, especially if I was going to be around water and sand. So whatevs, decided to cut it to a much more manageable length! I really don't like when wigs are so long that I have to hold them before I sit down. Unless there's a specific reason it needs to be so long, I often just cut it to my lower back, and it gets the job done!
Why Stocking?
This was originally inspired by a fan art that I had seen posted online, I used my MeMeMe cosplay to do a Stocking x MeMeMe mashup! All in all, a super easy and fun shoot to do, since I already had the MeMeMe cosplay, and just used my (new!) Stocking wig to redress it! Gotta love double dipping on cosplays.

About This Costume
The only "new" thing I had to do for this cosplay was to trim up and straighten out my new Stocking Arda wig. A pretty easy style, luckily, since I hate styling wigs, haha! For the rest of the construction info, check out my page for my MeMeMe cosplay and read all about it!
